So, we’re about to bid goodbyes to the year 2011, and welcome a new year ahead of us. It has been a rollercoaster ride for me, and Jay, in keeping this blog active (I was busy with my studies, and Jay as well) so we’re all fitting all our very little free time just to write a post.
Since we wanted to pay you back and give you much more content, here’s what you’ll expect on YD this 2012:
1. The Cultures of Philippine Anime Fandom
Jay did an introduction on this on a previous post he did, so I won’t give much more info here. So in the coming days, or months, Jay will be doing a point by point analysis on every info about Philippine Anime Fandom, and its subordinates. You know, PHL anime culture is a vast network of information… and we’re up to gather them all.
2. Japanese Culture Festivals: Redefined

What’s the essence of calling this blog a Japanese Culture Blog if we’re not going to talk about Japanese Festivals, e? So starting this 2012, we’ll now give you an insight on how these events happen, when and where it happens, and lots of information you’ll surely never want to miss. So even if you are miles away from the land of the rising sun, this blog will make you feel Japan is around the corner!
3. Philippine Cosplay and Otaku Events (What’s hot and what’s not)

As usual, we’ll be doing our regular stint, writing reviews of the Anime Conventions situated in the Philippines (AFAIK, we’ll be starting with Ozine Fest, unless further noticed) with Me, Bryan, Jay and Mr. A of our Mothership, the Dere-moe Project. Expect a more in-depth analysis on your favorite convention (Expect it to be more chili hot this time) and… More Photos! If me being lucky this year, I might get an SLR cam to take Cosplay Photos (hopefully). If we got a place to put our equipment on, we might pull a live coverage again (Just like this year’s TOYCON) and have a livestream over the intewebs.
Well, that’s all for our introductions. Have a Happy New Year Everyone
P.S: Regarding the Round Table Otaku podcast, we’re still on the talks when will be our next episode be recorded. Stay tuned
